Hey Everyone!

I have been hard at work on a new project that I just posted on my newly created  “dawnrichardsonsf “ You Tube Channel. I finally came up with a way to merge three of my favorite things: Drumming, San Francisco and the episodic crime drama format. It is aptly called “The Beats of San Francisco” and Episode One: Easy Beats and Crooked Streets is now ready for viewing. You can check out my first foray into quasi-educational/infotainment at:

I am also involved with another very cool drumming contest that celebrates and supports female drummers. You can read more about it here: www.hitlikeagirl2012.com

The contest submission ends March 31, so please help me get the word our about this first of its’ kind event for female drummers sponsored by some great drum equipment and media companies. I encourage your participation, women and girls! It is for everyone to take part and to help us continue to build a bigger drumming community for all.

And the last bit of news is that my instrumental duo, Mental 99 is prepping to get back in the recording studio and make a new album – watch for it’s release later this year. You can check for more Mental 99 news and show updates here: www.mental99.com

Thanks so much for checking in on things here at my website and for your continued support.
